depends on the club, the guy and the friends you were with. Yes there is always a chance - the best bet to get a drink from a guy is if one asks "can I buy you a drink?" and you say yes and watch the bartender pour or mix it. And you take it straight from the bar tender.

Also, if your friends have a pact to make sure you each get home safe and you keep a good eye on each other and NOT let anyone go home with a stranger, then you are safer that way as well, if he popped a pill in your drink or NOT. Letting a man buy you a drink is not a big deal if you are safe about it and you go home with your friends.

men can rape you with or without the date rape drug, so always get home safe and take care of your friends.

I'm not sure what your question is. But if it is, should you have taken the drink? Then I would say only if you watched the bartender make it and they gave it to you. I wouldnt accept a drink from someone that just brought it over.

Your friends are wise to question it. You can't take chances this day and age.

Yep, it's an enormous deal. Watch all you like, men who put things in women's drinks can often be well practised at the act of sleight-of-hand. You drink it, you lose control, then what? Essentially you become nothing more than flesh for his purposes - Rape, murder, you name it, it can be done to you then, cos how are you gonna fight it when you're insensible? Call your friends and thank them for caring enough to keep you safe.

Your friends are just worried for you, or they may also be a bit jealous. Usually guys have the Bartender or Server deliver a drink to a girl, that way it is safer and less to worry if he put something in it. Just be careful!

I'd freak out too. I don't want some date-rape drugs slipped into MY drinks.. if I DID go clubbing that is. I'd always buy myself a drink if I really wanted one that badly. You can't afford it, then don't drink. You're in a club. Have fun. Go dance. Drinking isn't really "fun" anyway. At least I don't think it is. Personally I can't stand drinking much alchohol.

are u in a lesbian relationship? cuz yeah it really is dishonest! now when you're in a immediately relationship...it is a touch extraordinary to "make out" with different women, even if the dancing and ingesting is regular...and is not any longer dishonest. i wish that helps..i recognize that many adult males are uncomfortable with their women persons going out once they're in a serious relationship...i myself, recognize my guy's desires and do not bypass out dancing without him.

General rule of thumb. If you can't afford a drink don't go to the bar.

You're old enough to drink? You're out of fourth grade? You're accepting random drinks from strange men? I don't even know where to begin with your issues....
