You can't sue elected officials for not doing their job as well as you would like. That's what elections are for.

This sounds like a really good idea. To increase the chances of a positive outcome do the following:
Increase you television viewing time and get tvs for all rooms
Keep a journal of programs, stations, and networks
Accurately record the substance of the offensive statements
Research and document the important facts in your case
Gather information that bolsters your case -- for example just how has Jack Murtha weakened, endangered, and stressed your military.
Be especially diligent on election days, watch TV news shows and boycott polling places -- don't vote absentee.

These are the only three you want to waste your money on? And your reasons are, well, immature. Maybe you should do what most people do, and just vote for other candidates. If you are suing Kennedy for being fat, your priorities are really screwed up. 65% of adult Americans are fat. And maybe you just sue W as well. the military is weak from his personal war, he rants all the time, he had definitely endangered freedoms of every American, etc. Let me guess - you are really bored now? You think you are smart? You are trying to dredge up a Yahoo! answers controversy? I suggest next time you start feeling ignorant and start to write stupid questions on Yahoo, you instead choose to take some classes or get a job.

I think we should sue all Bush Supporters for the cost of the War (I mean Occupation). and all Republican Senators for not investigating 9-11 or Iraq... and not placing Bush under oath, not to mention all the other shady things they always do, while steeling Billions (if not Trillions by now) from "We the People"
When the go into deficit spending they are trading away the United States of America in the form of bonds to foreigners...
right now Saudi Arabia owns 8% of the USA... China about 16%
I can't remember the rest, but this is what your GOP (Party of Greed) is doing to us...
Wake up.. and smell the Cool-aid you just drank...

How ironic to read this in the middle of a Congressional session featuring attempts to create amendments to ban gay marriage and flag burning, and to keep the courts from evaluating the Constitutionality of laws. The Republicans have taken to spending our tax dollars on their own campaigning. Every Senator and Representative who voted to waste my tax money on that partisan campaigning should be impeached.
And Jack Murtha is defending America against traitors. If you don't like it, perhaps you should think about moving to Afghanistan.

Why stop with Democrats?
How about suing that Republican guy who took a record budget surplus to a record deficit, all the while lying to the American public ? Not to mention the direct attacks upon American freedoms by many in that party!

I guess there would be plenty of republicans that I could sue if you could sue the Democrats. If you don't like someone, all you can do is to hope to vote them out of office. They're there because we put them there.

They could, however sue you for any court and legal
costs they incurred dealing with the issue.
I'm going to guess that would be more than $100 / Democrat.

Why don't you run for office. It is obvious you have all the answers. Who knows perhaps you would get elected and then we can all hate you. Stranger things have happened so start getting those signatures.
