I have a Fortis pilot's wristwatch that is 40mm wide. Lately, watchmakers have been making ever wider models, so I could buy many models wider than my Fortis. Who wears such wide models? I weigh 285 lbs. with 8" wrists. 40 mm is enough for me. The smallest models are for ladies. My Fortis is too much for my 97 lbs. lover. She could barely lift her hand if she tried to wear it.

I only know the smallest of what I own...!

Its dimension is 13 mm x 13 mm, square 1940 Tiffany & Co 14K rose gold (sheung lin) wristwatch, with 6 numbers of less than 0.05 caract Burmese rubies and 4 numbers of 0.05 caract diamond setting on the top and bottom edges.

It stopped working for a while till I could found someone trust worthly in Macau who was confident to give it a try (to repair it). Finally the "ci fu" handmade the tiny parts (organs) to safe its life again.

I appreciate finer things in life but I still don't have enough money to buy nicer unique watches which I'm so fond of.
