Absolutely, but I've personally noticed it more in women than in men... so often I hear that girls I know are dating other girls, lesbian or "bi", then two weeks later they're straight as ever.

People love the shock factor of it all and a lot of girls often get a kick out of seeing how a lot of guys react to f-on-f action.

Around where I live, there's definite double standards... everyone thinks it's cool when a girl is a lesbian or bi, but they will bash on a gay guy and say that it's 'disgusting', etc... even when, half of the time the guy is the only one who is actually homosexual and not just doing it for attention.

I think society still has a lot of problems with homosexuality- whether we want to admit to it or not, there's still a hell of a lot of prejudice and one-sidedness that goes on about it...

It's a fad. It's just like ancient Greece. In Africa, people didn't even start with homosexuality until it was introduced to the place. And if you notice, girls are always being gay just so they can pick up guys and say they had an "experience". Those ones annoy me the most, because they don't like girls at all. They're just stupid. The whole thing is probably a fad.

You didn't say who "someone" is, but as an example fanatical Xtians love to spout this nonsense, because of the emergence of huge numbers of gays now not afraid of publicly being who they have always been. Rather than acknowledge that more and more people who are gay are finding the courage to come out and be less afraid of those who are ill-disposed toward them, they love to point out the increasing number of "out" people as a spreading fad or proof of some imagined increase in the decadence of young people caused by "recruiting" (which doesn't exist of course) or heightened acceptance of gays by the general public. You'll hear complaints about the increase of gays in TV shows as well, also calling that a fad. They won't acknowledge that it's a true reflection of our society that gays are everywhere - our neighbors, our family members, coworkers, etc. Some people are finding the freedom to explore their bisexuality as well, and this really tends to come off as a fad to those who don't have a grip on the reality of diverse sexual orientation. It's become clear in recent years that the estimates of 1 in 10 being gay is pretty close to the mark, but those who will never accept this reality do so from a stance of fear and ignorance or brainwashing by their chosen religion, pure and simple.

Hmmm since it's been around since the beginning of humans, it's hard to agree with 'it's just a fad'.

Yes. It has been a temporary fad ever since the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, the ancient Greeks knew it wouldn't last.

I've heard that, but I don't agree. It was common practice in ancient Greece, and many cultures simply accepted it as a fact of life. Even Romans didn't see it as particularly unusual. We're the ones who are prudes about it.

Yes, totally. So is heterosexuality. Why? Because the term doesnt describe/define it all. Nobody has even come close to defining gay properly anyway, so it will still be around for a while yet.

No! It is a sin. Read Romans chapter 1 in The Holy Bible where it says they are reprobates-rejected by God.
