Hezbollah is not using civilians as shields. These civilians could not leave their houses because of the Israeli attacks. Imagine yourself trying to leave your house while there is bombing outside. Israel did not even give the people time to leave.
Also, What is going on in Lebanon is very very sad. CNN and Fox News are not showing everything.
one important point is: this is not the first time Israel is killing the civilians in Lebanon. Israel attacked Lebanon in 1982 and killed many people. There was no Hezbollah at that time!! Israel invaded Lebanon to expand its land.. and i think this war is linked to the previous one.

In this world now days USA act like a leader but not a good clean leader. Even it's civilians raise their voice against to it's acts it's never listen. When ever Bush family or it's party rules America there will be a war. That's is the written history. America use war for it's weapon business. It never counts the innocent civilians killed by war in any where in world. It's only counts it's own good and the money.
For an example it's keeping friendship with India and USA need India's Strong support in nuclear and other acts but at the same time it is selling weapons to Pakistan which is looking for the time to destroy the India. Like wise It's support Israel at the same time it create a scene that USA care about Lebanon people who suffered by attack Israel by sending aids and other resources.
When it's strictly stick with its selfish way there will be no listening matter to public voices.

if u look at the answers above u will obviously realize that most of the answers are supporting israel coz most of the ppl comparing between arabs and israel they will choose israel because their media and their goverments, made the nation get used on this idea,so directly they start saying israel got the right to defend themselves, hizbullah is using women and childrens as shiels and this ****,but they dont think for a second to search for the truth or see what is the others point of view.
i ve been in qana where the last massacare happened, i didt see any of hizbullah soldier. but people believe whatever israel says because they are emotionally with israel.
but the truth is that the people at south lebanon wont leave their houses and villages and cities, hizbullah never tell anyone to stay at their home, but israel cant kill hizbullah soldiers so they start bombing everywhere and kill a lot of citizens that have nothing to do with hizbullah. so those people fault is that they stayed at their homes and never left it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is this a crime at the 21 century??????? is this bush democracy??????????
i am sure most of u if u were instead of those people, u will not leave ur houses and move to live in schoools as refugees in another lebanese cities,it is hard for people to leave their houses their lands.
and before we ask how can we stop usa supporting this nazi israel,we must try our best to let american citizens knows what is really happening their and never listen to their media which is controlled by the jews lobby and it is obvious to anyone, isnt it?so sure the jews lobby would say anything just to blame hizbullah. but this is not the truth at all, israel went crazy when they losed the war with hizbullah so they started bombing houses, and they saying that hizbullah is hiding rockets and using women and childrens as shiels, those women and childrens that are killed, they are the womens and childrens of hizbullah.

In your opinion then, how many soldiers must be kidnapped before Israel reacts - four, ten, one hundred? As a sovereign nation, Israel has a right to protect it citizens.
You are acting as an apologist for Hezbollah and in fact saying its OK for them to launch rockets but it is wrong for Israel to attack.
Innocent people are dying on both sides but what your suggesting is that it must be an even count. Did it occur to you that the reason more innocent Lebanese are killed is that Hezbollah uses them as a shield in the hope that they will be killed and thus get sympathy for their cause.
Hezbollah is a terrorist organization - plain and simple!

Yes, it's equal to a holocaust. Of course. There have been lots of holocaust. Dresden Germany, in Russia under Stalin. I don't know why we never hear of these things. Now we have the holocaust in Lebanon.
Don't misunderstand, I don't side with anyone in that region. And I sure as heck don't care to see us involved over there in any way because it's a great waste of time. But I have a modicum of compassion for fellow people on this planet and where there is suffering, my heart aches for them where ever they may be. I'm not liberal or left or even right by the way.
I suppose we may see protests.
And then people want to accuse anyone who disagrees with them of supporting hezbolla.
That is fast becomming the catch phrase to try to disarm people from their opinion. They are trying to make you forget your opinion and and shut you up. I know you don't side with Hezbolla. You have an opinion. You have asked a healthy question and it is good to question the world around you when you don't understand things!!!! It is being discouraged from an opinion that aint good. The more you excersise your right to an opinion the better insured you are that you will be able to keep that right.

I'm sorry to say that unless you are a billionaire, there's not a whole lot of pressure that you can put on the government.
The fact of the matter is, that the government is completely bought and paid for by large corporations and the very wealthy. Politicians are highly skilled at convincing Joe Average American that they are looking out for his welfare and getting him to vote for them, but when it comes down to it, unless you have a lot of money to contribute to their campaigns, they will never listen to a word you say.
Petitions do no good. Neither do letters or phone calls. I, like many others, have tried it all in attempts to protest many of the actions of this government. But I'm not rich, so they just laugh it off, knowing full well that I can't stop them from getting voted into office over and over again. They make sure to scare most Americans away from questioning their authority, and keep them uneducated enough to not know better.
Of course, this can't continue forever, and there will come a point, sooner than most people think, where America will simply implode. I have another year of college and then I'm moving to Europe.
Care to join me?

This isn't just about 2 soldiers. Though I think that would be enough for Israel to defend itself.
Stop supporting the enemy and the terrorists! Start condemning Hezbollah for using women and children as human shields! Start condemning Hezbollah for not letting the innocent people out of Lebanon and start condemning the Lebanese for allowing Hezbollah to set up camp in their country!

You're right. It's not about the two soldiers. The best thing for the Lebanese to do is denounce Hezbollah who hides behind children. I believe the Israeli response to be way over the top as well, but I also believe the Arabs want the Jews destroyed. They certainly say it often enough. You'd be paranoid too. This conflict needs a resolution, but its more complicated then you make it out to be.

First of all, you must find out the details of why this is happening.
You have to know a lot more of the middle east and israel before you can even pose a question like this.
Of course, no one should support fighting. But if the other party is aggressive and will not stop, then someone has to do soemthing about it.
I dont have the full details and cannot answer you in detail but if someone else has the details, please post here.
This war is about human rights I think.

Hi,
The present war we're witnessing in Lebanon presently has a political undertone and the war in other country we had witness in the past, the American that claim to be world power have not done anything reasonable enough to resolve the problem between Israel and Lebanon. American should wake up to their responsibility without bias to stop the horror in Lebanon. The American has the resources whatsoever in their care to alert Israel and Lebanese to stop fighting and to stop killing innocent civilian. It is painful we see people dying like bird.
American should wake up otherwise is going to be a terrible experience.
thanks.
