The image link is probably broken and / or the image doesnt exist. It's a coding fault usually or someone has moved or renamed the image....
### Edit ###
The image could be linking to a *local* resouce. For example, the page is looking for an image at C:\Images\MyPic.gif instead of http://www.mypage.com/images/mypic.gif
Right click on the page and click View Source, look around the file for the image tag and see where it's pointing.

There are many reasons
Your computer may be slow in loading up the web pages and that could be because there is a spyware. You will require a simple spyware scan like ad aware or spybot to clean up your system a bit.

If it is only for some pages, then it is most likely not your browser setting. The most likely situation is that the link to the image the code on the page is pointing to doesn't really exist. So it's pointing to an image that doesn't exist anymore (perhaps it used to exist).
In any case, it's their fault and it isn't anything you can do about it.

It means the file failed to load because your web browser did not download it or the file is unable to be downloaded because it is missing. In Internet Explorer you can right click on the x and select show picture to load it if the browser didn't but it wont work if the file is missing. Good luck!

The picture that is supposed to be displayed is either no longer available or it may be corrupted. If the picture is hosted externally, the external server may be down.

You probably need to send in your picture and if you did that then your out of luck unless it lets you create a picture of your own on the website.
