Until the end....you can not know if you made the right decision; therefore, you can not feel regret until you have found that it was the wrong choice. Thus, regret can only be in the end.

Typically, it is the consequences of an action that make us regret the action. The consequences are the end result. Therefore, the regret comes at the end or after the actual action.

you wish you could go back in time to erase, redo, or do all the mistakes made in life. We only get one shot at many things in our life. We have regret on some levels in the end and want to right what we did wrong.
