Alaska is not the best place to be in now due to the effects of global warming. It may 'disappear' (drown) one day because the glaciers are melting at a faster rate.....

No you wouldn't, because if you did want to you could just start walking north right now. You'd eventually get there and then realise why you weren't there in the first place.
