Sorry to tell you but the Internet is littered with SCAMS like this. Some adds even appear on legitimate sites like Yahoo and Hotmail. Those companies sign up with one thing then switch.
Most want to get your personal information so they can sell it to another company. Soon your snail-mail and e-mail will be flooded with SPAM and Junk mail.
It's really ashamed but some supposedly legit companies try this tactic.

(some sites do have free samples and legit contests but use a spare e-mail address. One you wont mind losing if you get flooded with SPAM. And read the privacy policy. You can most times trust them on REAL companies.)

AND NEVER NEVER EVER give more than your name and mailing address so they can send you the sample or winnings, if any. NEVER GIVE YOUR BANK INFO HAVE THEM SEND YOU A CHECK!!!!!

Yes, I did once claim a free cell phone it was one of those razr phones. I signed up for it and I waited for three weeks and I still didnt get it so then I wouldn't count on it but if you do get it your really lucky.

Thats just a way to waste time and sign up for lots and lots of junk spam email. Nothing in this world is free....

I never go for any free offers on the internet...not worth the risk.

I apply the same rule of thumb to free offers online as to the real world: If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.

What fake.. lol. each so often it does precisely such as you describe. basically the character of cellular telephones. direction, you spot on television the commercials make it look no one knows cellular telephones can lose sign and that they only save speaking as though there is somebody on the different end. and there is ineffective silence.

Yes i have i actually answered 2 ads and got two cool phones one from Sprint and one from Alltell. You get better deals online than in store!

I answered all the ads ( they didn't ask for persoinal info or anything)
but I never got them. I even won a baby monkey on the internet!!!

I hope you didn't give them your credit card, bank account, or social security number!!!! Remeber, when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!! I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on your "free" phone! ROFLMAO!!!!
