Viagra has to be the hands-down winner. Pfizer was actually trying to develop a heart drug (they're big in cardiovascular) but during studies found this unusual side effect. The rest is history . . . but talk about making lemonade from lemons!
Otherwise, it would be hard to ignore Lipitor, the best-selling drug to date. Coincidentally, this is also a Pfizer drug, but they didn't develop it. It was developed by the old Warner Lambert, which Pfizer acquired through a large buyout, something like $100 billion, a huge deal in its day, back in the late 90's.
