To check on your RAM, right click My Computer > select the Properties > then u will see at near bottom of the dialog window the RAM available in your computer

If it is low like 32 or 64MB you need to add up so that your computer performance will get better. 128MB is acceptable but it would be better if you get 256 or higher.

To check on your free HD (hard disk), go to My Computer > select drive you wanna check (C: or D:) > right click it and choose properties.

To make it easier for you to check on your available HD, press window (the key between ctrl & alt)+ e [shortcut for windows explorer], then change the icon viewer, rightclick and View > Details
