Will Limewire give me trojans, addware, spyware...etc. or even any type of virus, remember I have a Mac (powerbook), and they say Mac doesn't have virus' in their network. Just give me some info, Thanks.

To Nanny: How is Frostwire "safer" than Limewire? They're basically the same program.

It's possible. If you have an anti virus however it should stop the download from completing totally. And for the record Macs get Viruses and they tend to be rarer but worse than IBM Compatible (PC) viruses. If you'd like more info just find me and ask!

i use lime wire every day and have found a few dirty files but it is a really good program if ya have a good anti virus like norton internet security 2006

The program itself probably will not, but the things you download could. Be careful.
