For everyone (And ONLY) if you are against abortion 100%... How do you feel about divorce? I am wondering if there is a connection with being completely, no questions asked against abortions and divorces...

I am not looking for rude remarks... I am not looking to start an argument, I am just wondering.

Please only answer if you are completely, no buts, against abortions...

OK.. I agree with all you who are 100% against abortion.. and who do not think divorce is the same. My reason for asking is because I am about to get a divorce and people in my life are trying to tell me that is the same as an abortion... Which I do not agree with. I just wanted to see who else though the way people around me do, and by the looks of it no one does.

I believe that the connection is that both abortion and divorce are difficult.
Marriage is supported in the Bible, with Divorce being against God's will.
Abortion is supported in the Bible, with God also using abortion in the form of miscarriage.
Regardless, both situations cause deep emotional harm. And that is the connection.

I think they are wrong to say a divorce is the same as an abortion. I am christian, against abortion and against divorce most of the time. Getting divorced could be the wrong move. Why are you getting divorced? You shouldn't get divorced unless the man or yourself cheated. Even then is there any possible way to save your marriage. You should get divorced too if your husband is a perverted pedophile or anything like that. If you are getting divorced over small things then no it isn't worth it. Life won't always be cotton candy and smiles. You have to put alot into a marriage to make it work. Well the best of luck to you with everything. You can send me a message on here if you want to know anything else or whatever.

I see abortion as being OK in 2 circumstances....
1) fatal pregnancy
2) pregnancy is result of rape

if that doesn't make me 100% against oops....

I believe that Divorce is not the same as an abortion.... you are simply making life easier on each other and the kids (if there are any)
I can see the argument though and understand (oddly enough) where they are coming from....best bet- get a new social group

I am definitely against abortion. I believe it is the murder of a truly innocent child.

Like the others, I'm confused about any connection you might see between abortion and divorce. I dislike divorce and believe too many people choose divorce over the hard work of counseling and compromise. I do, however, believe there are many instances in which divorce is the right thing to do.

So, no, I do not feel the same about abortion and divorce.

To me the word "abortion" is a fancy name for MURDER!
briefly, if the women who have them could see first hand what they are doing they would change their minds about having an abortion! So Cruel!!
Divorce is so common it is sickening, socially acceptable, what a crock! they both, ( abortion, divorce) are socially acceptable. From what I understand abortion was first accepted for women who were either raped or was facing death if they continued with a pregnancy for medical reasons. But today, its personal choice.
That statement is what really gets me! "Personal Choice",
well if its personal choice then why didn't they choose to use some sort of protection to keep from getting pregnant in the first place! Oh, now you got me started! Some women who are thinking of abortion should watch the video,"Silent Scream" that would give them a wake up call!!

I am anti-abortion, and pro life, but abortion is pro-choice---- but we are all pro life. But there are times in a person's life when ending an early pregnancy is the only answer -- rape, incest, or carrying a child that has no chance of having anything close to a happy life, (a crack baby, for one --- ever teach one of those??????? what a joke and they will never be contributing members of society). No 14 years old child should be made to carry an impregnation by her father, honey!!!!! And I for one, want a healthy child, not a Down's baby, nor do I wish to raise a child with spina bifita, or conjoined twins. We are all against abortion, and we are all pro-life. Most of us feel that a child deserves the best chance in life he can get. Interestingly, have never seen any signs carried by protesters outside an abortion clinic stating "Do don't terminate this pregnancy, I will raise your crack baby" or "I will raise your Downs baby" or I will raise your deformed infant" The marchers what the unfortunate female to do something she is incapable of doing..... I am anti abortion, but I am also pro life -- a good life, sweetie, not one in an institution......Statically, there is no relationship between divorce and being for or against abortion because as you can see, abortion has its levels of concern....

I am 100% against abortion, but i am not against divorce... Abortion is killing someone, divorce is making atleast one person happy... They do not compare at all.... Abortion maybe make atleast one person happy but it is murder of a child who deserves to live... Divorce is because someone fell out of love ......

there is definitely NO connection!!!!!!!!!
with divorce, you get to spend a lot of money in this undertaking...
with abortion, you get to spend a lot of time in jail in doing this.

divorce is all about separation from a relationship.
abortion is all about murdering an inocent kid!!!

in divorce, you will have a chance to be happy.
in abortion, the jail inmates will have the chance to be happy.

i could go on... there is no connection!!!
