divide both sides by 6 4.5y -12 = 9/6
add 12 to both sides 4.5y = 9/6 + 12
divide both sides by 4.5 y= (9/6 + 12)/ 4.5
y= 3

27y - 72 = 9 //Multiply 6 with 4.5y and 12

27y = 9 + 72

27y = 81

y = 81/27

y = 3 //This is the answers!
