It's not the age that's the problem, it's the maturity of both parties. And there are also loads of other factors that affect a relationship. You can't really classify people based on their age - on one hand there are some people who never grow up and on the other there are teenagers who are mature beyond their years. Even a couple with a large age gap could be compatible with each other, it all comes down to their personality.

i imagine it ought to remember at a particular age, as an social gathering if someone is 13, going out with an 18 12 months previous there's a huge distinction in adulthood aspect between those a at the same time as, yet at an older age both if the individuals are a lot previous their teenage years and are significantly better mature so it would not make as a lot of a distinction. it really is merely my opinion even if! everyone has diverse ideas :)

if you're talking about a 15-yr gap,i don't think it does...maturity doesnt come with how many birthdays you have celebrated. You can be 30 and still acting immature or childish. From my experience, guys should be older than girls, coz they say girls become more mature at an early time compare to guys. You just have to remember, that it is all about readiness, understanding, patience and acceptance in a relationship that matter to make it work.

No, it does not matter but if the guy/girl is wayy older, like lets say 20 years apart then that's too much of a difference. If you go out with someone this old, it will be very different later in the relationship. My dad is 10 years older then my mom..it works out because it's not really THAT much of a difference.
And also it depends on how old you are...

It can be. a 20 year age diff. can be problamatic because there is a diff. in value btwn the average 20 yrold and avarage 40 yrold. But it really comes down to compatability, I guess.

Age is only a number and you both are only as old as you feel . If you love each other have a great time . Don't let anyone change your mind .You have to do that feels right to you .

When you are young and in love it does not seem to, but when you get older the difference may be profound. It depends how many years you mean. Three or four are all right.

it depends on how big of the gap and what age. it also depends on maturity of the person. if you're in your 20's, then it's plus or minus 5 years would be fine.
