You need to be more specific. There are hundreds of games out there for English. You can try to do a Google search with exactly what you are teaching. For example: type in "English lesson games verbs" and see what comes up in the search engine. I also like to throw the word FREE in there a lot.

Good Luck!

You could use a jeopardy game, or some sort of trivia game. Kids always like to split into teams and play for somesort of prize like a homework pass or bonus points for the team that wins. This works for all subjects not just Englsih.

Go to a dollar store and buy a Mad Libs. It is a book or tablet that has all kinds of games with verbs, noun, etc with stories. The story usually turns out very funny and the kids love it and don't even know they are learning.

my english teacher, who was at one point my gifted teacher, used to play a game with us called "word ladder". what you do is start with a three letter word, say "cat". the next word you have to do is four letters and starts with the last letter of the word before, example "tree". next possible word "extra" (five letters) and so on... it will end up looking like this:
_ _ _
_ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _
(before)

cat
tree
extra
apples
(after)

and you can keep going for as long as you want!! this presents a wonderful challenge to the kids, and makes them think while having a ton of fun!!! i hope this game works for you and good luck!!
