I hate it..is there a certain quality that enccourages them to be such jerks and expect me to take it as a joke? it just winds me up so much!! they think its funny but after maybe once or twice it isnt! Im a nice girl, i like to joke and laugh with people but this has happened to me more than once already; they are nice people but love to yank my chain and provoke me into saying things...why?

Guys always like winding each other up. It's a social thing however stupid it may seem to you. Some guys see it as a 'bonding' thing. Done properly, it shouldn't offend you. Or maybe they are just jerks. Stay composed, don't react and hopefully they'll realise that they are being stupid and behave in a more mature way.

People LOVE a reaction...apparently you're reacting big-time. Try not to be drawn in when you suspect people are provoking you (even though you may secretly enjoy the attention).

what your doing is giving these boys a button and they are pushing it. so don't put the button out and it wont get pushed.
