It is in a Pontiac Montana mini van-3600 V6. Was told all you have to do for the spark plugs and wires was to remove the top motor mounts and put trans in reverse and rock the engine forward. Yeah, if you have pencil arms and multi elbows you COULD reach the back ones!

Need to be more specific on engine or at least the make and model of the vehicle.

Basic tune up parts like plugs, cap, and wires won't cause a light. Couldn't say for sure but could be clogged cat, o2 sensors, fuel injectors clogged and many many more things .... take it to a local shop like Pep-Boys and pay for a diag that's why we go to school bro!! to make your life easier.

Good Luck!

Sounds like you have numerous problems...hard to believe with a late model American car. First, the injectors probably have a bunch of varnish in them; get them pressure blasted. Change the power steering belt and like the light says, check the engine! That means take it to the shop! Unless you know about it yourself, but it sounds like you don't. Mechanics don't make the big bucks for nothing; there are some things you can't fix by yourself.

it could be your fan belt that runs the alternator, if that slips it would cause your Bat to run low thus causing the car to cut off or jerk..if not check your plugs and leads for condensed water,,
