I hope so. I am waiting anxiously for it. Soul Food was the bomb and I still have plenty of episodes that I haven't seen yet. I loved that it displayed Black love and family realistically. Contrary to what some think, we are not all growing up in the "hood" being raised by crack addicts. We are just a diverse group of people who come from all walks of life.

Soul food would be hard to beat. I think it takes a good writer because I don't think there have been that many good Dramas all the way around.

My favorite was a show called Roc that was on Fox from 1991-1994. It starred Charles Dutton, Ella Joyce, Rocky Carroll, Carl Gordon and Garrett Morris. It was comedy-drama focussing on a garbage man trying to support his family. Very well done series, but America didn't want to support a show about an African American family (unless it was all comedy)
