I like to compare death like birth. It may be uncomfortable but when you get to the other side it is a beautiful place. And we don't remember what was back on the other side. I believe God has a place for me waiting to bring me home. Then I will be "birthed" into heaven. I am looking forward to it and do not fear it. But I believe it is a beginning, not an end.

Death is the cessation of life when the organism is at final equilibrium with its environment, that is, no energy or matter leave or enter the organism through its life processes which have terminated.

lack of existence is the top of all you've discovered and experienced in this existence, and is a initiating of a clean existence and way of existence that lasts perpetually. The body dies and the spirit lives on forever. Saint John, New testomony - verify it out.

Great question....
Death is simply a traumatic ending of cell regeneration.
The instant we die, we return to nature and start decomposing.
Whilst we live, as thinking beings, we try to justify and we try to enshroud ourselves in every doctrine possible to justify our existence....we are but biological machines: nature does not stand still - it doesn't matter how clever or philosophical we are

Death is when a person's spirit leaves his body. The carcus, or flesh and bones are still there, but what makes the person who they are, has departed for parts unknown.
