You like the deep ones don't you!?

My answer:
That money can't buy you love....they were so wrong...

It doesn't buy you love true, but the trappings of wealth have created the image of self I have which, when externalised, has given me my confidence (shaped in part by the society and its expectations) which has in turn attracted people to me that are like minded...which has led to love...

It is too simple a lie, and it is untrue

That looks don't matter, and the right person will see the real you.

Much as most of us would love to believe it, it just isn't true. Looks are how the monkey-brain assesses genetic potential, and it decides how we come over long before the human consciousness gets a look-in.

I'd have had a much happier teenage-hood if my over-idealistic parents had just had the honesty to say "Sorry son, it sucks but you'll always be judged on how you appear, it's an automatic human reflex that we can't help, and you're just going to have to work with it."

All the usual ones, Santa Claus, tooth fairy and Easter bunny.... But they are not really lies, just stories. My daughter recently just had a tooth fall out but her granny put it in the bin. I told her that if we looked at auto route and printed the tooth fairy a map to the centre where the tooth was in the bin, she would go and find it!!!

Most things like........

Carrots help you see in the dark.
Crusts make your hair curly.
Greens make you big and strong.
Water melons grow at the bottom of the ocean (my dad told me this one).

My parents never really lied. Boring hey!!

Well I don't think anyone told me this as a child but I always thought that when people got married and slept in the same bed that the wife actually slept lying on top of her husband!!! I really do not know what made me think that (no joke, I really did believe that!!!!)

Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, God, and a whole raft of other fictious characters meant to trick you into being a good boy.
