what are the internal and external factors affecting shares?

Each are numerous. The single largest internal factor is profitability. External is not so easy to nail down; could be interest rates, could be market sentiment, could be competition, could be taxation.

Shares of income? As a general rule, the greater the productivity the greater the share. How this translates in real life is anyone's guess, since the information mechanism is unclear.

Shares of stock? Animal spirits, baby. Read Keynes.

Current profitability and perception of stability and continued viability.

Also, when you see insiders selling alot of their stock, that might be a sign as well.
