What kind of message does it send to kids when athletes cheat to win with drugs? what's the win worth if he or she is caught and their name finished or their team has to hand back all the medals they won because one idiot took steroids :(

The common excuse for cheating is "everyone is doing it so I had to " *sigh*

i think it sends kid a bad message that cheating is ok. when its not. just because everyone else jumps off a bridge would you if the the answer is no the why follow what everyone is doing. why not be an different from everyone else. being different is good and you stand out and make a statement

These days, sports aren't about honor, or team work, or sportsmanship...it's all about winning. It's about being the best, even if you have to cheat. It's about how many trophies you can get, and how many awards you get. Cheating doesn't seem to matter anymore. It's just a part of the game.

I bet someday, they'll legalize steriods in the games, just because there won't be a single person not using them.

Coming from experience..with my teammates in high school performance enhancing drugs.

Kids are already doing it, and there isnt much to do to stop it unless they create random drug testings for high school students, which is too expensive.

It is already too bad not much to do.

It is hard for myself to compete in my school with multiple people on the juice or whatever they are taking

These are selfish jerks who want to win at all costs, no matter what kind of example they set. I've heard several of them justify their actions by saying that they didn't ask to be role models.

if you dont get caught like lance armstrong then it was COMPLETELY worst it. just think about all those athletes that didnt/havent got caught. there are SO MANY!!!

sometimes not getting caught is harder than the sport itself , some do it for the thrill

I think it is more an obsession with "Winning" then any conscious thought about the fact that cheating is wrong.

Well have someone wave millions in your face... the temptation is harder for them than it is for us scrutizining them and we dont know what its like. If i had the opportunity to have cash in my face and all i had to do was take a drug that made me ripped, i would probably strongly think about it. Put yourself in that place.

It's only cheating if you get caught! Cheating is the American way!
