Not necessarily, but it is valuable in itself to get feedback from an interviewer, just so you know how you're coming across.

You can say the chances are bright. As in today's day and date the company or the interviewer really doesn't want to waste time to give false hopes to anyone..

I can say that as i am a recruiter my self and i come across such comments as part of my everyday job.

I think you should have the job. In an unfortunate scenario where you dont get this job then make it a point to meet or atleast talk to the interviewer once to get honest feedback about yourself so that you can improve

No, you're reading too much into it. The language sounds like a form letter, with words specifically chosen so as NOT to let any information leak. "I wish you luck in your job search". That does NOT mean future, as in you didn't get this job. You ARE in the middle of a job search right now, aren't you? I mean, you did interview for the job? "You will hear from HR as soon as the interview process furthers" - Translation: We haven't finished interviewing everyone, and it's possible one of our interviewers is on vacation.

May be. It remains to be seen if someone else did better than you did. Wait for abt a week thatz what the interviewer told you ok?
Good Luck and give me 10 pts. after you get the job!

I think it means you came across well in the interview. If you had the job they would say something like I'll get back to you by such and such a date. They would let you know you were a strong candidate for the position.

Not necessarily. Just because he/she complimented you that way doesn't mean that the company is going to add you as an employee. You might interview well, but you might not have the qualifications that the company is requiring of a new employee.

Not necessarily again.
It is a nice compliment, and certainly means you should be able to get more and better jobs over your career than if you were a bad interviewer.

Not necessarily. It means that you are composed and articulate and show an interest in the company but it doesn't mean you will be the most qualified applicant for the job.
