Let me analyze the dream
Airplanes = traveling vechical, or decision making
Bomb = obstacles, problems.
If you have dream about bombs being dropped out of airplanes, that means you may have confusion and doubt about making decision. You want to dump all problems to someone esle instead of handling yourself

You are affected by the news, as we all are: you associate bombs with death, with war, with pain - it is natural.
In terms of pyschology death is one of the most powerful images and is often significant in terms of one's own uncertainties at a person level...
Do the bombs explode? Do you wake when they do? usually people will not allow this to happen, even within dreams: this signifies the minds ability to self-regulate...it does not want a conclusion to what has started, but can't prevent it from starting...
Dreams can be very individual - it is not an exact science, however I think they signify uncertainty or maybe guilt about being uncertain in you personally: but nothing necessarily to do with any particular war, or nothing even that important...it could be something much simpler than that...

You've probably been watching the news and it carried over into your dreams. That happens to my mom all the time when she watches the news channels all day long.
