Of course there are innocents. Probably the vast majority.

Israel is almost like a tumor for the US......it costs American taxpayers billions of dollars and has yet to really produce anything of value or help us in any way. It's sad the the Jewish lobby can so skew American foriegn policy.

That is a rather complicated question. I believe that there are innocents (those who choose not to fight) but unfortunately they usually inhabit the same area as those that do choose to fight (especially right now since those who choose to fight-i.e. Hezbollah-are actively choosing to hide among the innocents). And if Israel chooses to spare innocents lives by waiting to find out if they are in the area, the Israelis will be killed more often because they are usually being shot at while they look.

But as far as Jews going around influencing debates on the subject of war, that is most absolutely fair. They aren't trying to commit genocide of the Lebanese or the Palestinians, like was said before they are forced to because the fighting enemy is hiding among the civilian "enemy" (those that are citizens of the opposing country but not actual fighters in the war). And it is that tactic by Hezbollah of hiding among civilians that is making Israel look bad but unable to change anything, and that is what is making them look so bad internationally. So they are completely justified in saying their side of things to show that this fight isn't completely their fault (which it isn't, this is Hezbollah and Palestinian extremism).

You've thrown in a monkey wrench to your question with the post script, but there are always innocent casualties in time of war. That is the sad part of the equation.
