Prejudice of all colour, creeds, & religions is going to be in all nations. But I do feel that it is more dominant in the States than in other countries due to having so many diversities. Where there is a misunderstanding of cultures there is bound to be prejudice. And until the ignorance of past centuries & the grudges of the present can be (or will be) put aside will always be prejudice between blacks & whites. What needs to be realized is that the past cannot be changed. We can only try to learn from it.

White race believes that they are the supream / higher race, which is "one of" the main cause for all the racism around the world.
I would just like to point out that not all White people and not all Black people are the same. That would just be very ignorant to assume....
Looking back through history, the Greeks and the Romans were white, not black, and they comitted the athrocites that the things we see today look pale in comparason.
The KKK clan believes that by races mixing, meaning, white people mixing with black, chinese, hindu, hispanic, etc., that the white race will will eventually disappear. They also believe that other then the white race, no other is equal.
So you see, there will always be people in this world who are haters and believe that they are better then the person standing next to them.
Our brain is the most amazing tool invented, sadly, we only use 10% of it, and for some people, a lot less.
I would like to ask a KKK member if your child was drowning and the only person in a position to save the child is a black person, would you be grateful? I would like to ask a black racist the same question???
STOP being blinded by what you where programmed to think from the day you were born, rather, use your minds and grow as a person.

first of all all blacks and all whites are not the same.
populations and histories are different according to the country.
the only country I can talk about is France because I grew up there : I'm french citizen from african descent.
France has a long history of colonisation and slavery.
and too many people don't REALLY WANT the equality between whites and blacks NOW.
french have enslaved africans for more than 400 years, and it's been only 40 years that the west african countries got independant.
and then, immigrants came from those countries to work in France and they were welcome untill the 1980's, because France needed them for unskilled work.
the children of those immigrants are french citizens, educated, many are high skilled and want a higher social status, but they are discriminated because too many french don't expect blacks to have a high skilled job.
I think 40 years is not enough for white population to accept that now we are all equal and all french citizens.
that's why there were riots last year, and that's why I left France.
I live in Montreal since august 2005 and I didn't feel any racial tension yet. probably because canadian history with Africa is different ..

The tension between white and blacks is found in many countries. It mainly stems from when the white Europeans went into Africa and exploited the people there. That is at least how it started.
Today, the effects can still be felt. Take the U.S. for instance. All U.S. citizens supposedly have equal rights. But look at the intercities and ghettos of the U.S. What do you see? Mainly African American. Now, look at the governement and richer parts of the country. What do you see? Mainly white people. Does this look like equal rights to you?

Imagine there are 3 people in a room. One person wants to do something that they don't want the other 2 to see. They provoke an argument between the other 2 people and while they are caught up in their arguing, the 3rd person does what they want to do.
Now imagine 1 person in that room representing blacks, the 2ond person representing whites, and the 3rd person represent the government or people who make their living off from racial tension. Wouldn't it be in their best interest to keep the racial tension going? Yes, of course.
I don't know what country has the most racial tension, but I would guess the continent of Africa because there is such extreme poverty there that there cannot be racial equality.

That is a very inclusive question. I don't believe all black and white people hate each other. Use the word some next time.

I believe that this type of hatred comes from ignorance and fear of the unknown. If you get to know a person of another ethnic or racial group, you'll found out that people are basically the same. They have the same aspirations, dreams and goals.
Hatred of a race or culture isn't limited to one country. I think every country around the world has some hatred or bias against another ethnic group that isn't indigenous to that country.

It is found all over the world, but they dont hate each other generally, it is only a small stupid amount of people.
I was born in England and my parents are Indian, I have seen this racism but like I said it is limited and to the few.

people that are ignorant, intolerant and uneducated will always dislike or hate the unknown as they FEAR it!
Education is so important, as an educated person is more tolerant and open minded to others and willing to learn from them also.
I do not judge on the color of skin, but do judge on the content of character.
