We have been to Peru, Mexico and Guatemala to see the remains of ancient civilisations. We are thinking of going to Honduras or Belieze. Can anyone give us advice on which are the best tour operators in these areas. Any advice on places to go or places to stay would be great.

Put Ireland on your list of places to visit.In Ireland you will find evidence of stone-age farming activity c.4500BC at Behy Bog in Mayo.
At Newgrange you will see an enormous mound, comprised of 200,000 tons of material, including single megaliths weighing almost 20 tons, aligned so accurately that modern geostatic platform theodeloids are unable to discern any deviation.
The structure accurately measures the rays of the sun at dawn on the morning of the winter solstice each year and has done so since about 3700BC.

EGYPT-- I went last year and what an experience , the vally of the kings as well as queens was a visit i will never forget, you have to be able to stand the heat though.
tempritures were well over 100 .
As well as visiting the tombes there are plenty ancient temples that are magnifercent to wonder through, just showes you how advanced ancient egypt really was.

To add to the existing suggestions, what about the island of Crete. This is the home of the oldest recorded civilisation, the Minoans and the Palace of Knossos. I personally found it fascinating.

You have to go to Ephesus which is near Kusadasi in Turkey. It is one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world and the site of the temple of Artemis which is one of the seven wonders. Really should take a look!!

exodus do some great tours. even if you don't use them do as i do and get there itinerary's pick the best bits and do it yourself, went to Thailand in may did most of the exodus trip, great fun!
