no, b/c they cry and moan enough as it is, i would hate to see them pregnant. i would kill someone!!

I for one like the idea of me just being pregnant and dealing with it. It is a beautiful thing. Sure, I would love for him to feel the same joy as I did being able to carry a child, but I think he gets to bond after I have the babies. I honestly think men could handle it. Now some cant, but again there are some women that cant neither with out bitching and moaning about it. The hard work is after the baby is born. I am 34 weeks now, and I still think the hardest part is raising them. And I have one already. My husband is very hands on with our children. He does the same amount for our son as I do if not more. And he will be the same for this one that is due next month. I honestly think men could handle having a baby.....

Yes I agree but, when I was pregnant all I had to deal with was the kicking baby... My husband had all the morning sickness, bloating, water weight gain.. MOOD swings and cravings.... I laughed... all 3 pregnancy's and he knew before I did.. even had the tender nipples...lol.. so maybe in a way.. some of them do go thru some of it,, just not the birth.. that is what they need to experience

I do!!! And it actually has been done! What is done is, the embryo is put inside the male by means of cutting him open and putting it there. It ends up forming a placenta and all the things necessary to help the baby survive. When the baby is ready to be born, it is born via c section.

I'd love to see that but I agree w/bluekitty.....my husband is the same way. He get's a cold and you'd think the world stopped. I get bronchitius and I still have to make dinner, change diapers, go to work ect. Men are big babies themselves. What is it the say about babies having babies? I think that'd be more like it.

Uh...YEAH!! I'm 36 weeks pregnant. After my baby shower, I was sitting on the couch (of course, thoroughly exausted) and asked my husband to get up and get me a water. He rolled his eyes...and I nearly punched him square in the face (I could've mustered up enough energy for that, I assure you). LOL
Don't get me wrong...I'm happy that I'm the one who is able to carry the baby...it's such a wonderful feeling to know that my body can take on this amazing task. However, I just wish he could be in my shoes for 24 hours. I want him to KNOW how it feels!

My husband can't handle a cold he lays around whining and moaning like he is dying and wants to be babied and taken care of, there is no way he could handle (or I could handle him) being pregnant, it is a fun thought though.

I would be happy with them suffering through a period just once... They would have a lot more respect for us after they experienced the cramps and the hormones and the mood swings...
