absolute BEST metal band is Children of Bodom.
nothing else comes close to it.
I would also recommend Lamb of God, Dark Funeral, Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, A Perfect Murder, Angel Blake, Demon Hunter, Silent Civilian, Bleeding Through, Inked in Blood, Flee the Seen, August Burns Red, Eighteen Visions, Mastodon, Opeth, Kittie, Otep, Lacuna Coil, Cradle of Filth...there are just waaaay too many to name.
