yes, it doesnt matter if you have a lot of hair or not, you can still get sunburned, because after all its just skin covering your head. whats worse is that you can get a sun stroke if you are not carefull, so wear a hat and stay cool.

Yes, it is possible to get a sunburn on your scalp. My husband is balding and he has to be really careful because he burns easily and so does his head. Although it is a little more difficult to treat, the best thing for a sunburn is to soak in bathwater in which you have added Dreft Baby Laundry Detergent. It will take the burn away and if not burned extremely badly, will keep it from peeling or hurting. Just put the detergent in warm bath water and soak in it until the water starts to cool. Just went getting out, DO NOT wash off with soap and water. It won't work if you do. This may have to be repeated but definately will work. I have been doing this since I was a small child (30 years or so) and works better than any other home remedy I have found. Hope this helps.

If you have hair then no you wont get sunburned on your scalp but what will happen is that your scalp will dry up hence you will get dandruff since dandruff is the result of a dry scalp. But if you are bald then yes you will get sun burt on your scalp... so yeah wear a hat

Yes it is! It's recommended to put a bit of sunscreen where you hair parts to avoid getting sun burnt or you could wear a hat or bandanna

Definatley is. I have fine, thin hair and I deal with this a lot. If you don't like wearing hats, brush your hair completely back so that none of your scalp is exposed. (if you have long hair. This way you can put it in a pony tail or something)

It is very possible, and very painful. If you do get burned on your scalp, be careful what shampoo you use for awhile. Some can irritate it and make the pain worse.

Absolutely. If you dont have a lot of hair on your head, you are a candidate for a sunburn on your head!
