Everyone will tell you to have sex but what they wont tell you is that you need to have an ORGASM so sometimes having intercourse will not do the trick. When you have an orgasm your uterus contracts and can initiate labor, you also release the hormone ptocin which is what causes contractions to start. You are actually better off masterbating to climax. At this point if you were to go into labor and your water broke during intercourse your baby could be exposed to infection from your husbands fluids. It safer and more than likely faster.

There is NOTHING in male semen that induces labor. That is the most stupid thing I have heard. You dont need to have intercourse you need to have an orgasm to release the ptocin. Doctors tell you to have sex with the assumption you will have an orgasm. Intercourse does you no good with out the orgasm.

They are many wives tales for how to help in enducing labor. Some say kayo syrup some say spicy food, doctor even suggested sex as something in male output helps to enduce. Try em and see everybody is different

I just had a baby girl a year ago, went over my due date almost a month I've tried them all the only thing that worked that the doctors told me was standing in a shower for 20 mins letting the water run over my breast within 1 hour I was having bad contractions.

Oh I have heard it all.
Italian dressing from the Olive Garden. (At least I ate well)
Castor Oil (made me puke)
Driving over Rail Road tracks (Made my back hurt)

Good luck. Start with a table spoon. It's corn syrup. Yuck.

No, on the Karo Syrup. However, I have heard sex or castor oil does the trick very good.
