we live on earth because after hundreds of millions of years of evolution our species has evolved and eventually created you. our purpose is to protect and improve the world so our species may continue. Without the universe , earth would not exist. We are a mere microcosm in a ever changing and expanding universe. Earth is like a pimple on an elephants rear end. even though its there it seems pretty insignifigant in relation to the giant mass it dwells upon.
