There is no definite answer, however nothing is impossible. You don't have to 'force' a guinea pig and a chinchilla. Instead, you can get the ovary of one and sperm of another, try cross breeding with that. Of cos, there will be chances of failing. But pls do not try that on your own. It is cruel to harm the little animals. Just a discussion question, ok! =)

Their species would be too far apart.
Guinea pigs are more closely related to rabbits, while chinchillas are actually rodents.
Hybrid breeding is not encouraged with any of these species though.

No, you can't. Even if you could get them to mate, they have a different number of chromosomes, so it wouldn't result in any offspring.
