The football players have gotten beer bellies and still relive high school on a daily basis. The cheerleader types and cheer leader wannabees are working on their 2 marriage or are not married and have a bunch a kids . Meanwhile, I got my 2 engineering degrees with many job prospects and will be laughing at my ten year high school reunion when I see these people. I graduated in 2000.

The unpopular ones did something with their lives and have a much more successful one than their popular counterpart. The popular ones ended up working in restaurants, fast food joints, clothing shops, trying to make ends meet with their young tot. As cliche as it sounds, that's what happened in my high school.

popular people - never make new friends, never date people outside their school district, live with mommy and daddy after age 25, talk about high school a ton, live in the same neighborhood until death, and are usually pathetic drunkards that wish they could have made a professional sports team!

unpopular people- make friends "outside" high school, date people from "different" places, are more independent, talk about world affairs, live in different parts of the country or world, and usually drink Martinis or espresso at a hip joint away from suburbia! I am biased because I never ran w/the pop crowd in high school. They never change, no matter what!

It didn't matter in the end. People from BOTH groups ended up either very successful or down and out, happily married or horribly divorced, parents to children or childless, clean and sober or alcoholic/drug addicts, straight and narrow or dangerous criminals.

All goes to show you, high school drama doesn't mean $hit because after it's over everybody is just a person.

Well we all went further to college, but the difference is: when educated you can get somewhere, even if you don't have rich parents. When you are a rich brat, the only thing that guarantees success is yur daddy's money and that won't last forever. The thing is most rich kids think they have it made just because of their parents.
Oh! I forgot to mention: in Romania popular=rich.

the other way around.
the unpopular take on the business field, entertainment and the likes and become popular, while the popular just remain popular in their own minds.

I could care less about the popular people...but my friends from high school, we all still keep in touch.....though it's weird, because a lot of us have kids and are married and have houses, and I keep thinking back to when we all used to play hackey sack during lunch....goodtimes
