How to react to someone who spits at you when talking. Especially if you respect them.?

An elderly man at work eats peanuts all day long & he's a spitter. Once he spat a wet chunk of a peanut into my mouth! I could die and didnt know how to react as I repect the old fart. What would you do if you were in this situation?

I would normally let em have it though

Tell him his behavior is unacceptable.

I'd tell him to chew with his mouth closed and show some manners.
