Don't worry too much, if these are relatively small - almost everyone has them, and they cause no ill effects, being merely, in most cases, cell debris in the inner layers of the eye.
They're normally only visible when looking into a light background. However, if they start becoming visible when you're gazing at dark backgrounds, suddenly increase in number and/or are accompanied by any changes in your vision, you should get medical advice.
Other danger signs are 'flashes', or if an entire section of your peripheral vision seems to be turning black.
A regular visit to an opthamologist can't be a bad thing, anyway! ; )

I agree with the person who said they are floaters. This has been asked on Yahoo!Answers before, and the answers, if you search for them (see search for questions above) may tell you more.
You should go to the eye doctor to confirm it is not due to a detached retina.
Some say the floaters are protein, and some say a fungus. All say they are harmless, unless they interfere with your ability to see well.
I am currently on an anti yeast (Candida) diet - yeast is a fungus that can overgrow and cause other problems. I am hoping that it will cure my floaters. I want to think they are disappearing, but I still have some after 7 months on the diet (not 100% - I am human).
The Candida Albicans fungus (yeast) is also the same fungus that results in jock itch, athlete's foot, thrush (white tongue), vaginitis (in women), ringworm and other skin rashes.
For basic information on the systemic yeast syndrome, check out the link on the Welcome page of www.hufa.org.

It may be the start of a migraine.
Mine start like that...like you can see something in the corner of the eye. Then it gradually gets worse with flashing lights. Then you get the headache.
Take some pain killers quick

The black spots you see are called floaters, I too have them. I would suggest that you go and see your eye doctor so he can check them out. If they become larger or they look like a spider web, see a doctor asap, it could be a detached retinia

there is 'aqueous humor' and 'vitreous humor' in different parts of the eye - every now and then it gets replaced with fresh stuff . so you see the movement of said fluids .
