All the people who are saying abortion is murder obviously have never been failed by birth control and have been in the position where you have to make a decision.
Everyone thinks it is selfish to have an abortion but it is the opposite. Having an abortion is the most devastation choice for the woman but if you can not support it finacially or mentally its best for everyone involved for the woman to have an abortion.
I would love to see the people suggesting adoption to carry a child to full term, give birth, see your baby then hand it over to a stranger because you can not give it what it needs leaving you feeling like a failure as a woman. With an abortion it is devastating but eventually the woman can move on but adoption would be unbearable.

If you are younger that 19 then please go to your young persons family planning clinic - they will advise you and sign post you to a support organisation.
As for the abortion, be honest with them ands seek support/advice for this. Statistics show that there is a high proportion of under 19's who if they become pregnant very young often go on to have further pregnancies when young.
Being fully educated about family planning will help you to avoid a situation like this one for the 3rd time. Also seek out some counselling as 1, let alone 2 abortions is gonna come back and haunt you in later life.
Also find out what kind of abortion you are going to be having-none of which are truly humane to an unborn baby, no matter what its development time is. It isnt just your body being put at risk, your emotions are also.
Wishing you well

If taking the pill how you get pregnant?
Drugs that interfeared with it or forget to take one or took it late?
Yes the doctor can give you another one ... This time take a depro injection and read up about any medical reatment or drugs legal or otherwise that may interfeer with it...
And ignore all the relgious nuts talking about murdering babies and other rubbish...
They are the ones supporting the slaughter in iraq and Lebanon.
And adoption often causes immense pain to mother and babdy leading to the kid getting abused... better aborted then that...
And historically its the anti abortion lot with their kids homes that do the most child abuse.
So have another abortion and a good word with docs on the small print instructions

Hi Chanters,
Don't let these other people upset you abortion is not murder.
Accidents happen although I would suggest taking better precautions next time if you are not ready to start a family.
The doctor will allow up to 3 abortions but it is frowned upon on the nhs.
Alternatively you could go private. It costs around £300-£600 depending on the area but there are no questions asked.
Good Luck in whatever you decide to do but please be more careful in future. Abortion cant be used as birth control! x
Take care sweetie and all the best x x

Don't feel like an idiot - Doctors can not judge you - they are paid to offer you advice and treatment.
When you go and see your GP get some advice too - maybe consider going on the pill or learning more about contraception.
People can have more than one termination in their lives it's not the end of the world.
If you're unsure have you got a friend or a relative that you trust that you can take with you?
There is no reason for you to feel like an idiot - nobody chooses to be in the situation you are in. I say book to see your GP asap.

Are you completely stupid or is it just an act? Have you ever heard of birth control? It works for most people. You already murdered one child now you want to murder another? Why not give birth and give it up for adoption? I'm sure that would make a couple very grateful especially if they have been trying to concieve for years. You are just disgusting.
Have you ever thought that you are MEANT to have a baby now? I've been on birth control and got pregnant 4 times!!! 2 resulted in miscarriages and I gave birth to 2. If you weren't meant to have a child you wouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place.

you need to start being more responsible, this is just really sellfish. You cant keep making babies then getting rid of them. It aint right, this isnt contraception it is just being to lazy to get to the family planning clinic. What you need to do is try some other form of contraceptive. There are loads out there. Depo injection, Rod in your arm, coil... etc... Yes your doctor will let you have another one because it is not their choice it is yours. But please think about trying something else if you really dont want a baby. Oh and a word of warning... If you have too many terminations it could lead to you having problems falling pregnent when the time is right for you

Very brave to ask such a question in an open debate. You should be allowed to 'get another one' but you've got to take life a tad more seriously. Abortion is not a method of contraception & to fall pregnant once in a year (when you don't want to) is upsetting but for it to happen twice in less than 12 months is a tad nieve and possibly selfish!
If you are using a contreceptive it obviously isn't working ...... if you;re not and you don't want children yet, then you;re going to have to stop having sex!
Take responsibilty for your actions!

Somebody I know had it 4 times. I am not going to be judgemental, I think you got enough grief already. You do however need to sort out your contraception, until you do, refrain from sex. You must bare in mind that if the abortion goes wrong, you may not be able to conceive one day when you get the desire to have kids. Do think about this carefully, it might affect you psychologically for the rest of your life.

Its a huge decision to have an abortion and shouldnt be taken lightly. I was gutted when i found out i was preg 3 years ago. I thought there was no way i could have a child, booked an abortion, but couldnt go through with it. ive got a beautiful son and although parenting isnt the easiest thing, its unbearable to think i was going to get rid of him. Think about it.
