If you buy the things in the fashion pages, or cut them out and cut out a paper doll shape that you label as yourself, then the paper doll you will be able to try on all the clothes in the newspaper and not have to pay 200 plus for them. But any experimentation with actually making clothes out of the newspaper would be quite a disaster, you'd have to be very careful about where you decided to position each article. Who knows what you could have written on your back.

You're kidding, right? It's actually funny that you ask if you can have a newspaper wardrobe; In the late 1960's the BIG FASHION craze was wearing dresses/mini skirts made from....newspaper!!! I had one! Wish I still had it; would probably be worth some $$$$.

You certainly can- all it takes is a little imagination and creativity on your part. Rolling, folding, pasting- even painting parts of the newsprint with a bright color for a hot accent. After all, if a model can wear a top made from pieces of bicycle tire inner tubes riveted together, we should certainly feel free to wear the newspaper- heck, it's even earth-friendly recycling!

BUT if your question is what kind of things you would wear to work AT a newspaper, newsprint is definitely not recommended. Professional yet comfortable dress will do.

A lovely poem, written by Yahoo! Answers own "dognhorsemom" just two days ago and lightly edited by yours truly, should more than answer your question:

A lady who lived in St. Paul
wore a newspaper dress to a ball.
Someone lit a fire
and burned her attire,
front page, colored funnies, and all.

In other words, a newspaper wardrobe would fail to meet federal safety standards. And would leave unsightly stains on white sofas.

I remember the days that they made paper dresses. This fashion didn't last very long. You can try to bring back this type of wardrobe but I can't promise you that it would be popular.

No, but you can have a newspaper like wardrobe and by that I mean, get stuff with newspaperprint and wear that.
