Actually when I just saw the headline I was going to put Lovely Bones before I read the rest of the question. I'd also have to agree on Wuthering Heights and cannot even read it again. But another I would say is P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern.

Wuthering Heights made you cry? That was a sappy romance novel! Of all the Brontes, I would say Charlotte had the most ability to produce tears, but only because I was so irritated when Jane went back to Mr. Rochester- of course it was obligatory to the storyline, but he was so mean and frankly... a little weird. Call me crazy, but I don't consider a man who keeps his first wife locked in the attic ideal marriage material.
Ummm... A Suitable Boy, by Vikram Seth was the only book that ever made me really cry. The heroine ended up consenting to an arranged marriage because her family wouldn't accept her Muslim boyfriend. What made me so sad was the fact that I understood her decision, but still mourned the unfairness of the situation. That was a great book.

I cried from The Lovely Bones as well. I wasn't expecting to be so touched by that novel.
Pretty much any book by Pat Conroy, but especially Beach Music. I cried on several parts in that.
A Boy's Life by Robert McCammon. Some very touching scenes.
Flowers for Algernon. That was a sad one.
To Kill A Mockingbird.
A young adult book called With You and Without You about a young girl who loses her dad. The Bridge to Terabithia. Charlotte's Web (yes, I admit it).

A Prayer for Owen Meaney by John Irving was the first book to makke me cry when I was young but there have been too many to name since. Last one was The Abortionist's Daughter by Elisabeth Hyde. The second last chapter would break a stone heart.

I once read a book called "A child called it". It is a true story about a child who was abused by his mother from being very little. It was absolutely heartbreaking and I had to keep putting it down as I found it really difficult to read it. I think the author is called David Peltzer and there are also two follow up books which tell you all about his life now he is a grown man - I haven't read these yet.
