Another one to eventually bite the dust because the stinking tabloid papers out for a scandal.

Might surprise a few people in the way Enzo Bearzot did with Italy. If the tabloids are fishing out for scandal, he has Max Clifford on board to help him out. Terry Venables is also an adept media handler, and has a lot of tactical acumen which will certainly help this team.

Under him, Middlesborough achieved more than they have ever done. He got them to transcend previous limitations and negative expectations. That was done with the help of a sports psychologist, who is also now on board. Good idea, since the players obviously have mental blocks when it comes to penalty shoot-outs, and beating 'major' footballing nations. The best performances of the Eriksson era (Germany, Argentina, Turkey) also coincided with the employment of a sports psychologist.

He has an excellent squad of players to work with, and a very knowledgeable 'wise old man' to help him out. Watch this space.

Absolutely.

The press always get their way, Keegan was the prime example. Everyone wanted him as manager, the press, fans, people on the street. A real football man.

The press pressure got to him and he jumped before he was pushed.

No-one likes seeing there face as a vegetable on the back of a tabloid! ;)

Oh why will you not give Steve a chance, you can not possibly be able to judge him yet, as he has never been England`s Manager until today, which means he has never been in charge of a game of Football played by English players. So for gods sake give the poor bloke a chance.

Steve McClaren has been going to take over since well before the world cup. Sven announced he was stepping down moths ago, and the choice was made then. Is there any scandal about him?

Mclaren did a fantastic job with Middlesbrough (League cup winners, highest league finish and Uefa Cup finalists) Im sure given a real chance he will do the business with England!

well if they didnt do anything wrong tere would not be any scandal, some one who wants to be in the public eye and could be classed as role models should behave themselves

What is your question? Seems like your only making statements! Just because you use a question mark does not make it a question!
