No. Stuart Pearce is too old and slow for a league with as much pace as the Premiership.

City would be better off signing a replacement with the Distin money. They could consider Robert Huth (when fitness is proven), the unsettled Olof Mellberg at Aston Villa or perhaps the out-of-contract Chris Sutton.

When Stuart Pearce did play as centre back which he did in many occasions he was excellent but don't be leave the reports Distin won't leave City he's ambitious but he'd be better of with an up and coming manager who's ambitious rather than a player who was appointed to be manger because no one else wanted the job.

Stuart Pearce didn't play in the same position as Distin, so that probably wouldn't help... he'd be better off just signing a replacement...

As much as i love Psycho - No!

He has more than enough to deal with as Manager, and if distin does go, we need to replace him with someone younger, who wants to play for the club. Not some mercenary, who can't get in the France squad ahead of Jean Alain Boumsong

no physco a left back anyway
let Distin go as no one is bigger than the club.
But would be great to see 11 player with his passion in city shirts.

No we signed Dikov... and Barton and Richards have just extended their contracts. Anyway it's fun to watch Psycho in his technical area... or, more than likely, ten feet out of it! Come on you boys in blue!
