I'd suggest Simoniz S1900 Electric Pressure Washer. My husband and I have one at home and it works so well on both our cars. We also use it to wash the outside of the house, to get those windows cleaned quickly. It works great!

Pressure washers can be quite helpfull around the house for cleaning decks, patios, driveways, etc.

Buying one for your car seems kind of a waste of money. You will still need to wash the dirt off by hand with a sponge or rag.

If you live in a house with a smaller outside area you may want to consider an electric one. Karcher makes a VERY good one.

If you have a larger area outside, then I would recommend a gas one.

It's not so much JUST the pressure, BUT GPM (gallons per minute), or volume of water.

Most of these are considered to me, to be disposable. The repair cost usualy exceed the value of the machine.

If you buy a gas one, before storeing it for a long time, run it out of gas.

1500 psi sould surfice.

Remember though, you get what you pay for. If you buy junk, you've got junk.

Good luck hunting.

keep it as low as possible - only enough to do the job, don't spray at the bottom of the windows and avoid any decals. 60 bar should be fine, but if you need the washer for cleaning any stone work then the 150 will be good.

Dont waste your money on any accessories other than the detergent bottle, and dilute the detergent before you pour it in

If you are anything like me you will end up washing everything in sight with it - hide the kids and the dog!
