Limewire and Kazaa are fine but here are some other alternitives..
Amazon has some free stuff. Just check out FREE DOWNLOADS.

iTunes gives at least 2 free songs a week. Some are good some are bad.

You can also just google search on the internet for some songs. Use the advanced search and type these words in the find results section.
with all the words - (the name of your song & or artist)
with the exact phrase - parent directory
with at least one of the words - mp3
with out the words - cd debian linux
This usually works on popular songs because it looks for music saved by other people on their computer.
I would also check out your local library. You might be surprised on what kind of music they have. Libraries are free too.
