Havet to agree with you but it could be because he is handsome, talented and monetarily successfully that his family believed all was well, they it could be that they didn't feel comfortable rocking the boat, or have been too close to the problem to really see that is it a problem. The people I feel sorry for in this matter are his 6 kids who will go to school and bear the brunt of the father's ignorant remarks.

Well you know about alcoholism in the family... it's always hush hush business... especially when you're talking about one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. And believe me, his career is hardly ruined. Why, it might pave the way for a stalled career to take off. Reminds me of the cartoon of the agent talking on the cell phone from the pool and he says: "My client is currently in lockdown, but I could spring him for the right project"

Maybe they didn't get him help b/c he's a big boy and should do stuff on his own. No one can force you to get help. I think this is retarded. Everyone says things that they wish they hadn't - especially if they are drunk. People are making such a big deal about all this. He is human. He apologized - let it go!!
