I am sometimes blonde but not dumb. Someone asked me if I had heard of Sherlock Homes and I do believe I saw at one venue we played, a block of old people's flats called that. I expect she's searching for her old mother. Is it in your town?

sherlock hoLmes (with an "l") was a fictional detective in a series of novels by sir arthur conan doyle. there may well be somewhere called "sherlock homes" but i expect the person was talking about the detective

Sherlock Holmes is a detective created, by an author called Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who was very good at deduction. Very old movies, very, very old books. He used to say Elementary my Dear Watson.
