As someone from a sub-tropical climate let me inform you.
After the heat you get the storm.
Tropical heat brews tropical storms (Cyclones, Typhoons and hurricanes). Inland large thunderstorms and twisters occur over the plains after heating.
This is due to rising hot air creating a vacuum that must be filled by in-rushing cold (and how they mix) - to put it very basically.
We've just had similar here, now we have warning signal No. 1 for an approaching Typhoon - so don't complain.

That's weather for you. Is it global warming? Is it the massive air traffic that disturbs the natural weather patterns? We don't know. Don't worry, you go to bed tonight and tomorrow morning you'll wake up in August again.

Have your food and cuppas brought up to you.
Hibernate until the end of the week. It gets better then.
It's going to be a lovely weekend.
Take care you.
