I know so many people who claim to have jewish friends and they automatically assume that if your jewish then you support Israel.....they are so stupid. Israel is NOW a nation...Jews are a people.......Don't get it mixed up!

I've read some of your previous Q & As, you sound like an insightful and curious fellow. But I'm not quite sure what it is you're asking, if you just want to find another thoughtful point of view on the subject, here's my piece:
I will continue to wonder at what the world would be like, if only for an instant, all disputes over religion, leadership, property, nations, territories and power were completely forgotten. All cynicism, pride and jokes aside, what is everybody fighting for, I mean really, what's so important? Is what they hope to gain really going to make a positive difference in anybody's life? In their own life? I will continue to find hope in the young minds that I sometimes get a glimpse of, like yours, that eventually human beings as a race will evolve into a more peaceful species, and find more creative and rewarding ways to pass our time here on earth than the pursuit of war.

Ya know something. The last three times you engaged Israel in open warfare you got your butts kicked badly. So now you sneak around and drag your own populations into the firefight and say it is everyone elses fault. I agree that no one should nuke Lebanese people, that is cruel. There are descent Lebanese people who are caught in all of this, and who are dying because of this. It is wrong to encourage anyone to kill civilians. I am against it.
