I try to prevent this by sleeping at a regular time and getting up at a regular time. But otherwise it's coffee and food and lots of water. Booze can be good to take off the edge with coffee but not too much as it just makes you feel crappy after.
Try:
A shot of whiskey with a double shot of esspresso or good cup of proper coffee (not crud, use fresh ground roast and if you want to get a good blast use the brown and not balck roast as they have more caffeine).
All my other ideas are against the law. lol : (

I force myself to get up and i go to the kitchen, switch on the kettle, have a cup of coffee/tea with something to eat for breakfast. After that i have a smoke and by then im usually awake and ready to start the day! Make sure you get enough sleep though!!

you just have to force yourself- if you have something to do, do it- and make sure you get enough sleep the night before and be responsible - you cn only count on yourself - nobody else will
