I was five times in France. In 1997 I saw the Cote d'Azur(Monte Carlo, Nice, Cannes, St.Tropez, Marseille), than Lyon, Vichy, Avignon, The Castles of the Loire valley,Orleans, Paris and Strasbourg. In 1998 I was in Normandie, in Alsace and again in Paris. In 2000 I was only in Paris. In 2004 I was in the south (Marseille and Cote d'Azur) than Toulouse, Bordeaux and Biarritz. This year I spent 3 weeks in Paris, but I did trips to Mont St. Michel, to the castles, to Reims and the Champagne region, to the palace of Fontainebleau, to the peinters' village named Barbizon and, of course, to EuroDisney Land. I must add and if I enjoy all my trips?

My parents live there, so I go over there a lot. I have been to most areas and they are all unique in character. I think the best places are the least discovered, including the west coast with its Islands and the south coast around Agde which isn't such a pain to get around as Provence. Town-wise Carcasonne is my favourite. I mostly enjoy my trips, but avoid winter which always seems so dark and dismal over there.

I have been to France a couple time and I think my favorate spot was Strassbourg. It is so beautiful and with so much history. It looks like a fairytale city. Provence is good to. The French people are generally very nice, intellectual people as long as you are there to appriciate their culture and not to tell them how great your own is.

We went to Spain, and we stopped in France to have a look around. Marseille is nice, but I prefer the french gastronomy. Unfortunately this country is one of the most expensive in Europe.

I've spent quite a bit of time in Provence and the Cote d'Azur. It's wonderful and spectacular. Great food, great natural scenery, hiking, sights along the Mediterranean. I'd move to Provence in a heartbeat.
